The Fischer Transalp 86 Carbon skis combine the right width with an exceptionally low weight. This translates to excellent performance during both ascents and descents. The Fischer Transalp 86 Carbon is suitable for all conditions during trips, providing great maneuverability and stabilization.
Fischer used extremely lightweight paulownia wood in this model to ensure minimal ski weight, and hence high comfort during long climbs. Stiffness is provided by carbon fiber, which has been laminated around the core to enhance stability and stiffness while riding on the edges.
Fischer Transalp 86 Carbon features an Air Tec Ti core made from paulownia wood, which allows for an exceptionally low weight. The manufacturer decided to reinforce it with a titanium alloy called Titanal, which ensures excellent shock absorption and stability even at high speeds. Fischer Carbon 86 skis are also equipped with a Sandwich Sidewall made of ABS material, which protects them from mechanical damages.
Thanks to the Aeroshape design, the Fischer Transalp 86 Carbon allows for high speeds while maintaining uncompromising stability. The sintered base provides better lubricant absorption and durability, which you will particularly appreciate when preparing the skis for multiple seasons. The skis are additionally equipped with Tour Rocker, designed to reduce the ski's contact surface with the snow, resulting in easier turn initiation during descent. It allows for ski control with significantly less force.
Skis sold without bindings, currently available bindings can be found here.
